Vania examines the effect of stress on life, based on her observations of her younger relatives. She examines what part stress has to play physiologically and emotionally, and discusses its links to mental health issues, self-judgement, and perception. Vania makes reference to some primary research which she has carried out recently amongst her peers, relating to the fear over the perceptions we have of others and of ourselves. She reveals the stress in striving to achieve ‘success’ growing up in Asia, and her talk has struck a chord with many a student from her school.
