In this insightful talk, Spencer Mallett, a Southern Idaho native and farming aficionado, gives us reasons to be concerned about out food.
The way we spend our dollars, shapes the kind of world we live in; thus, every food decision you make, whether it be at a grocery store, restaurant, or farmer’s market is a real tangible vote forming what kind of future we intend to have. Where you spend your food money is what you’re voting to support. We all can and need to participate in the local foods solution. It can be as simple as voting with your food choices to things as complex as starting a business to facilitate the movement of local food. It is up to us and our grassroots food votes to decide what the future of food will look like.
