Sonia Jain is bold, competitive and a strong headed woman who rides super bikes for her passion as well as career. Starting her profession as a journalist and always wanted to raise her voice for things she believed in.
After her education just to be able to win a bike she participated and won 'The India Bike Rally' (2009) organized by Yamaha and BIGADDA. In 2016, Sonia Jain rode the Indian Chief vintage motorcycle on a 1,883 km long journey from Delhi to Goa for the India Bike Week.
Even though she faced various obstacles at different levels of her career, she showed that women don’t belong in four walls anymore. In her talk she tells , it is never easy to take the unconventional paths however with strong will power and focus, nothing is impossible.
In 2017, her name got registered in the Limca Book of Records and India Book of Records for being the first woman to ride 100 different models of motorcycles, the highest in India as of Aug 2016. She encourages and mentor female riders with basic riding skills, riding rules and safety techniques.
Apart from riding since 2009 her other interests include travelling, basketball, running and cycling. Jain has also participated in the Mission Arctic challenge in NATGEO (2012).
