Shah Rukh Khan: Today on TED Talks India, we have with us a world class musician who has an ever-changing relationship with music. From traditional musical instruments, he moved on to create music from everyday objects and then to create rhythms inspired by nature. TED Talks India welcomes this inspired and innovative musical artist who has his own unique relationship with music.

Tell me one thing, does it happen at home that when Runa is looking for something, like a bar of soap or a bottle of water or a plate ... is it normal to say: Siva must have taken it to create music?
(Laughter)
Sivamani: Sound is everywhere, it attracts me, and I put the rhythm and make music out of that.
(Applause and cheers)
SRK: This is my life's dream I have never been able to do this. Do you guys do it? When you pray, you go to the temple, I see the priests doing it, but I can’t do it, it has such a beautiful sound. So I just want to know: Is there a trick to it? Is there a trick to it that I can learn from you, Siva?
Sivamani: Very simple. SRK: I'll hold this for you.
(Conch sound)
(Conch sound)
SRK: OK, I'm going to try this.
(Laughter) There's no need to laugh. On TED Talks India we teach new thoughts, and new things and I am learning, so don’t laugh. Let me practice.
(Conch sound)
Sivamni: Har Har Mahadev! SRK: Har Har Mahadev!
