What could possibly be the science behind those peculiar invisibility cloaks? Mr. Shantanu Das, a BITS Pilani alumni, an ex-scientist at the prestigious Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) in the field of nuclear reactor control and safety, and an Honorary Senior Research Professor in Dept. of Physics in Jadavpur University. He has authored several publications in the field of metamaterials, fractional calculus, microwave machining, and super-capacitors among many others. His curiosity-driven search landed him into the field of electronic circuital applications and metamaterials, in order to find out the science behind some of the 'absurd' thoughts -rather called counterintuitive phenomena.
