Sarah Allie Moore: Reclaimed Roots: Black Hair Matters

Sarah Allie Moore shares her journey as a young Black women who was no longer willing to live her life under a wig. By reclaiming her roots she dared to show the world her authentic self. As a strong supporter of The Crown Act, Sarah reveals the high risk for Black women to embrace natural hair. She encourages each of us to free ourselves from our inner oppressor and to show up in the world as our real, authentic selves. She demonstrates how one simple act of deciding to love what is unlovable in ourselves and others, can and will set us all free.
