Money for What is money for not what is money poor? Where is money poor? But honestly, what is poor and where is it? Well, money poor is a state fund in the northeastern part of India. Well, what's so special about money? Poor . Now, India is a vast country filled with diverse cultures and traditions. If I were talking about India, I could go on and on. But today I'm here to talk to you about money. Poor, the land of jewels. My journey began as the airplane went into Manipur, flew into Manipur Under them, I could see the landscapes and landforms. One of my most memorable sights that I saw is called the Lok Tak Lake. The Lok Tak Lake is a lake with these land of rings around them. And surprisingly, these lakes are not made by man made, but they are made naturally. Next, as we are moving forward and get ready, getting ready to land. I could see the Himalayan mountain ranges, the Himalayan mountain ranges a little bit come into Manipur. As we are going down, I could see a few houses on the mountain ranges, a few houses turn into towns and then towns into cities. Before I knew it, we were on the runway. We headed home to my grandmother’s house and we were greeted. We, me and my family. We were greeted by the rest of our family, my aunties, my uncles, my cousins and my grandmother. We did not only get greeted by people, but also by the traditional manipuri food. Me and my family enjoyed the food there. When we come back here, we always miss it. Manipuri food is not very rich and filled with chilies and spices that is normally in Indian food. It is more basic, though not plain and bland. It still tasteful. Most of my trip was spent visiting my mom's cousins, which are my aunties and uncles. I remember when I was younger, my mom would always tell me about all her whole family tree and about her siblings and her cousins. I could never remember all of them because in total, when I counted it one time, there were I had 38 aunties and uncles. That is a lot. And if I have 38 aunties and uncles, imagine how many cousins I would have. Now, when I went to visit those houses, I noticed this one instrument. I didn't know what it was called. It had sort of threads. It had sort of threads weaved into it. But then one day I could, I saw that this machine was used to make cloth. This cloth is weaved with intricate patterns and is worn most commonly as a dress or in other traditions. It is worn as a shawl of a gift for honor.
Though I know about money poor and money poor is a part of me and I’ve been there many times and my family is from there, I still don't know everything about money poor. I still have so much to learn about it. Well, as because I took this journey and took a trip to Manipur, every trip that I took to Manipur was very unique. One time, maybe for a wedding, one time maybe to just visit people, other times just to spend time with my family at home. Whatever the journey was, whenever it was. We always made that trip special. And as I have took this journey, why don't you take this journey, too, to anywhere you like, to learn new things to It doesn't have to be about your roots and where you're from. It can be about anything. It can be about you, who you are, and whatever the outcome of that journey, make sure it becomes a part of you. Make sure you learn about it. So take that trip today and thank you for listening.
