Michela Puddu is an entrepreneur aiming to bring transparency into global consumer good supply chains. She highlights the issues faced in the pursuit for sustainable fashion, the importance of textile supply chain visibility and her own personal journey. After earning her PhD from ETH Zurich in Chemical Engineering, Michela went on to found the start-up, Haelixa, which is at the forefront of implementing DNA-based tracing solutions in product identification. Her focus is ethical and sustainable manufacturing through transparency in the supply chain. She won the EU Prize for Women Innovators in the rising innovator category and is a regular speaker at international events and trade shows including meetings of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, event at World Economic Forum as ETH spin-off delegate.
