Leo Ling-Yao, Tianyuan Liu, Eric Wu: Cyber-bullying

Please imagine you on WeChat and you see someone saying, ″You are ugly, stinky.″ And other mean ones to you. Would you feel nice about it? What would you feel when it happens to you? These bad behaviors I call you. You're so stupid. Get down! Get down. Get down. Hi, everyone. My name is Eric. My name is Leo. My name is Tianyuel. What you just witness is a kind of like a cyberbullying is basically done online. And a good example is WeChat. The bully will send you messages saying you’re a fool or other members too. And this would really make you feel sad. Playing video games is a very popular activity, with 70% of youth under the age of 18 playing it, but didn't know that cyber bullying also happened in games and some game you can make your own avatar or capture that bully while you will use this to make fun of you. The police inform to the game community using tricks or strategies to harm their victim. These people are called cyber criminals. Impact on young children unlike offline bullying, the bully can be anywhere in the whole wide world and also at any moment. And also when the bullies send bad messages online, it is hard to delete it. So it gives a great impact on the victims. Victims have been cyber bullied are more likely to skip school. There are also more likely to have poor grades and even health problems. And now I’m going to share one of my cyber bullying experience once when I was on WeChat. I saw somebody sending a bad message to me saying that if I don’t send this message to 20 people, I will have in big trouble. And then the flow. Well, another person sent the same message to me. I knew that the bully is forcing us to send the messages and to break our relationships. how can we stop this from keep happening? Let’s find out. Firstly, you need to identify signs of cyber bullying and that was sent to you or the public,you need to know that it is cyber bullying. Secondly, you have to stop the bullies behaviour and remember not to apply any boys the message that is negative or make the situation even worse. Remember to take a screenshot of the words for evidence and has as much information as possible will help you to determine and stop the bullies behaviour. Thirdly, you can ask a grown up for help if it is a serious problem. You can ask your parents for help if you’re at home and you ask the school administrators for help. If you are at school it is a really severe problem, then you can contact the law enforcement. And finally, how do you prevent from cyber bullying? Please avoid sending personal messages online where everyone can see it and you must run, but don't follow the bullies behaviour. Harvey Fierstein, a famous writer, actor, and upstander once said, ″Never be bullied and silenced. Never allow yourself to be made a victim.″ I really want to recommend you to send these days. How can you don’t remember your script again? We really want everyone to be kind. Stand up for yourself stand up for others. And finally, remember. Stop cyber bullying.
