At the age of 89 legendary Belgian New Wave and documentary director Agnès Varda reflects on how three ideas central to the life of an artist - inspiration, creation, and sharing - have shaped her career over seven decades of filmmaking. She talks about "the emergency of inspiration", the urgency an artist feels when inspiration strikes, and reveals what sparked her iconic films including CLEO FROM 5 TO 7, VAGABOND, THE BEACHES OF AGNES, THE WORLD OF JACQUES DEMY, THE GLEANERS AND I, and FACES, PLACES (which was nominated for an Oscar in the same year in which she won an honorary career Oscar).
