TEDxMSVU speaker Keri-Leigh Cassidy discusses how aging well has more to do with how we think about aging than other factors in her talk, “Positive thinking for aging well”. Dr. Cassidy talks about the science behind why negative messaging/views on aging has a detrimental impact on us. She suggests that strategies based on cognitive behavior therapy can help us challenge negative thoughts and in doing so change them, which ultimately can contribute to longer, healthier and happier lives.
