How can we help young women in Africa turn into leaders? Jana Kinsey, Executive Director of AfricAid, provides a mentoring program for thousands of young women who have struggled to overcome difficult circumstances in Tanzania. In this emotional talk she shares how mentors can empower girls to become confident, resilient, inspiring leaders, and how those leaders are changing the world for the better. A good mentor can become part of a girl's support network, but a great mentor helps a girl find the strength within to face and overcome challenges on her own. By providing a space where girls are free to raise their voices, AfricAid is mentoring Tanzanian girls to write a new story for themselves and their communities.
